eight seats, one conversation

Open

Jeruka Talk

Pull up a chair.

A voice room with eight seats, a mute button, and a slip of paper for the line you would rather not say out loud.

Open it on a phone. Open it on a computer. Open the app. When the room name matches, you are in the same conversation.

On the page

The room is a table, not a call list.

Faces sit on the paper. An empty chair stays drawn, so you can see who has not arrived. The person talking picks up a marker ring. Everyone else stays quiet on the page until they speak.

One name, three screens

The phone, the computer, and the app share the room. Nobody is a remote control for somebody else's seat. Each person sits down as themselves.

Quiet, on purpose

Close your own microphone. Hush the whole room. Or quiet a single voice without making a speech about it.

A slip of paper

Write a short note onto the page. The person talking can keep the sentence they already started.

How a room works

  1. Name the room. A short name is enough. Everyone who should hear you uses that same name.
  2. Take a seat. Join from the screen you already have. The room keeps the voices together.
  3. Talk, mute, or write. Eight seats is a full room. Leave when the page is done.
